Grant Avenue near Toomes Avenue: A woman reported her cat was stuck in a drain around 7:50 a.m. Thursday. Public Works removed the grate to free the cat.

First Street near North Street: A large explosion was heard around 11 a.m. Thursday.

Sister Mary Columba Drive: A Hispanic man in a white T-shirt and dark tan pants was throwing rocks at passing vehicles at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital around 12:45 p.m. Thursday.

Walnut Street: A woman reported her roommate threw a soda on her car at Brickyard Creek Apartments around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

Houghton Avenue near Toomes Avenue: A woman reported being in a physical fight with her boyfriend around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

Jackson Street and Union Street: A person reported hearing a loud argument in a home on the corner around 7:10 p.m. Thursday.

Cabernet Court: A woman reported around 4:50 p.m. Thursday her son, 13, said he was afraid of his father and did not attend the first day of school.

Washington Street: A man had questions for police about his background after being denied while trying to purchase ammunition around 5 p.m. Thursday.

South Main Street: A woman was lying on the ground rolling around and crying outside Social Services around 5:20 p.m. Thursday.

Jackson Street: A woman in a white cover up and bathing suit entered a back yard, took papers from the recycling bin and left around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Sale Lane: A person on a bicycle shined a flashlight into a room at Comfort Inn around 12:20 a.m. Friday.

Jefferson Street: A vehicle was broken into and the registration reported stolen around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Diamond Avenue: A front licence plate was reported stolen from a county vehicle around 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Tehama County Library.

Belle Mill Road: Two men stole items from FoodMaxx around 11 a.m. Thursday and left in a green Chevy Cobalt.

Main Street: U Haul reported an overdue rental vehicle stolen around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

99W: A woman reported her debit card information was used for a transaction after she used it at a gas station around 12:15 p.m. Thursday.

Walnut Street: A theft was reported around 4 p.m. Thursday at Sub Culture.

South Main Street: A transient man stole an ice cream bar from Los Amigos Meat Market around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
