The EPL-24-2L-T8-VISUVA explosion-proof combination fluorescent/ultraviolet lamp has a T6 temperature rating, comes standard with a T8 fluorescent bulb, which can produce 1,190 lumens, a service life of 20,000 hours, and a UV-A bulb. Ultraviolet light bulbs produce light in the wavelength range of 400 nanometers to 315 nanometers. Both lamps are protected by heat and impact resistant Pyrex tubes, and the external fixtures are made of durable copper-free aluminum alloy. The luminaire is rated for Class I, Division 1, Group C and D; Class I, Part 2, Groups A, B, C and D; and Class II, Part 1 and Part 2, Groups E, F and G Hazard place.
Larson Electronics’ 48-watt explosion-proof combination luminaire has two separate wire connections, so the operator can only turn on the fluorescent or ultraviolet light. This function allows the operator to switch from an inspection or curing application that uses ultraviolet light to a standard inspection or viewing mode that uses a white fluorescent lamp. The luminaire is equipped with a standard bracket mount for flat installation on the ceiling, floor or wall.
