Larson Electronics announces the addition of explosion-proof LED lights mounted on pillars

Larson Electronics’ EPL-LED7W-STCHN hazardous area LED luminaires can operate on 120-277 volts AC or 12-24 volts AC/DC, providing operators with a long-life and powerful alternative to traditional HID and incandescent lamps Of lamps.

This powerful and durable luminaire is approved for marine applications and is ideal for industrial applications, confined spaces, hazardous work areas, and Class 1 and Class 2 areas that require a robust and durable lighting solution. The lampshade is weatherproof, made of copper-free aluminum alloy, with a baking powder coating finish, an O-ring sealed glass dome with double-pitch apex threads, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware.

High-power LED lights are protected by an internal heat sink array, which reduces heat build-up, thereby prolonging the life of the LED and improving the uniformity of light output. The LED lamp in this luminaire provides a service life of more than 50,000 hours and a light output of 1,050 lumens. This LED luminaire has a ¾” hub for connecting to a power source and can operate at 120 to 277 VAC without modification. The LED luminaire has a T3C rated temperature and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 85°C.

Rob Bresnahan of Larsonelectronics.com said: “This luminaire is very suitable for installation on existing utility poles in hazardous locations, where LED upgrades are preferred.” “Compared with similar 100 watt incandescent lamps, this luminaire’s energy consumption Lower, higher light output."
