Tony Iommi said that the reunion song recorded for Ozzy Osbourne's next solo project was "very scary, really", and then made it clear that he was just joking.

"No, it's good. It's really good—I like what Ozzy sings on," Iommi told Planet Rock (via Uncut). "I think he did a very good job."

Iommi confirmed that he "wrote the whole piece and played it, and played a solo on it", adding that he thought his former Black Sabbath band member "had Chad [Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers] to play drums on it. I It's handed over to them now."

Osbourne previously confirmed that his next album will include performances by Iommi, Eric Clapton and Zakk Wylde. The untitled record due in 2022 follows the ordinary person in 2020.

Black Sabbath's last tour, called The End for short, ended in 2017. Original bassist Geezer Butler joined Iommi and Osbourne, but co-founder drummer Bill Ward was replaced by others in the farewell performance and the previous 13 reunion album.

As for the prospect of compounding again, "You can never say forever, can you?" Iommi reiterated to Planet Rock. "We know that in this band you can never say,'This will never happen again', because every time we say that, it has it. We never thought we would come back with Ozzy in the early years. We never Never thought of us "I will come back with [Ronnie James] Dio again; we did it. So you can't say that this will never happen. "

Osborne’s LP has no official release date yet, but Sony’s financial statements list him as one of the artists who will release records "in the next six months."
